We are continuing with the photo coverage of some of the most memorable trips taken by Hector Sanchez, one of our passionate and devoted world travellers.
This time we take off to Chernobyl in Ukraine.
The Chernobyl disaster is considered the worst nuclear disaster in history. It was caused by a nuclear energy accident rated at seven—the maximum severity—on the International Nuclear Event Scale.
This nuclear accident occurred on 26 April 1986, at the No. 4 reactor in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, near the city of Pripyat in the north of the Ukrainian SSR.
